Matomo Analytics

When you press “Accept” in our cookies message the only thing that actually changes for you is that we’ll activate Matomo Analytics on your session.

Matomo Analytics is an open-source, ethical alternative to Google Analytics that allows us to safely collect information from web visitors without having to share that information with Google or any other third parties. For more information, we recommend that you visit their website.

We use this service to see how many and from where our visitors are. We only use this information to design strategies to make our message reach as many people as possible.

Contact Form

When you write to us using our contact form we won’t store your details in any file and we won’t use them for anything other than communicating with you via email and only in relation to the topic of your message.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Green Bitácora registered users

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
